Our Story

Ambrose Archery was founded in 2015 with a simple idea: create a welcoming indoor range where people of all ages and abilities could enjoy archery and grow through the sport.

What started as a small passion project has grown into Melbourne’s favourite indoor archery destination, located at 25 Orr Street, Heidelberg Heights. Over the past 11 years we’ve helped thousands of first-timers discover the satisfaction of archery and supported many others in developing real skill and focus.

We’re not just running a shooting range. We’re in the business of helping people become better versions of themselves — whether that’s a complete beginner hitting their first target, a professional finding mental clarity after work, or a student developing concentration skills.

Glenn Ambrose – Owner & Founder

With over 11 years dedicated to archery and running the range, Glenn is passionate about helping people discover the joy and benefits of the sport. He brings a calm, encouraging teaching style and a commitment to making every visitor feel welcome.

We Seong-sim – Operations & Bookkeeping

Seong handles the important behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly.

Jonathan – Lead Instructor

An experienced and enthusiastic coach who is taking on more lessons and helping us deliver consistent, high-quality instruction.

Ben – Range officer

The lastest member of the team but at the same time he has been with Ambrose Archery for many years. He has been shooting and doing lessons with us since he was very young and now passing on that knowledge to others
