Lesson 1

Lesson 1

Lesson 1 introduces the bow and arrow, basic safety and how to shoot barebow.

Barebow is the style of archery where no aids are allowed to be used in aiming so the archer needs to use the arrow as the principal means of aiming. By bringing the arrow right in front of the eye the archer can look along the arrow, line it up with the target. It has proven to be the simplist way to get people started and is the most forgiving method of shooting an arrow.
